Courtesy Pay Protection 

The  Credit Union offers Courtesy Pay protection for your checking account.  No more fees on both sides when you are unable to cover a check!  When your account is in good standing:

Open 60 days--no delinquent loans with the credit union--no levees against your account--must make the account positive within 14 days

The Credit Union may, at our sole discretion, pay overdrafts with a $25.00 overdraft fee (each item) up to a negative balance of $300.00.  This includes all overdraft fees incurred on the items.  Accounts in good standing are automatically eligible; there is no need to sign up for this service.  However, you need to notify the Credit Union if you do not want this protection.

Courtesy pay is not a loan and you are obligated to pay the negative balance or incur normal negative balance closing procedures.  You will receive a letter telling you that the Credit Union has paid an item and what your negative balance is.  You will need to make the account positive within 14 days.
